Raymond E. Krause, 61, Wahpeton, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2017, in Wahpeton. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, from 3 to 5 PM, with a 5 PM Prayer Service at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, with Rev. Matthew Tooman officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home.
Raymond Elwood Krause was born December 7, 1955 in Breckenridge, MN, the son of Robert and Virginia Krause. He grew up in Mooreton, ND, and worked on his parent’s farm and for several other farmers. He had a passion for road grating like his dad. He enjoyed his family, kids, grandkids and his many friends.
Raymond is survived by his son, Shane Zuehlsodorff, Fergus Falls, MN; his daughter, Genevieve (Antony) Martin, Flandreau, SD; 9 grandchildren, Josie, Lorlei, Brady, Kobi, Blaine, Mythaca, Aubree, Antony ll, and Anastasia; his siblings, Leo Krause, Shafer, MN; David Krause, Ray, ND; Betty (Tom) Pawlak, Wahpeton, ND, Dora (Steve) Selle, Ray, ND; brother-in-law, Ralph Peterson, Barney, ND; an aunt, Norma Moulsoff, Barney, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Krause; his sister, Mary Peterson, grandparents, and aunts and uncles.
