Thomas Ehnstrom

Thomas G. Ehnstrom, 35, rural Breckenridge , MN , passed away Saturday, January 16, 2009 at his home. The Funeral Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Friday, at Inspiration Lutheran Brethren Church , Breckenridge , MN . There will be visitation with the family one hour before the service. Inurnment will be in the spring at Fairview Memorial Gardens , Wahpeton. Vertin-Munson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Tom was born February 25, 1974, at St. Paul , MN , the son of Rodger and Stephanie (Lancette) Ehnstrom. The family moved to Wahpeton, ND in 1978, where Tom attended Wahpeton Schools and played on the Wahpeton/Shanley Hockey Team which participated in the EDC. Tom graduated in 1992 from High School and attended North Dakota State College of Science. He went on to work with a welding crew that traveled to Antarctica twice, and throughout the United States . In 2001, Tom was married to Jenna Broz, they and their three boys have resided on a farm outside of Breckenridge. Tom was currently working at Cargill as a reliability coordinator and has been with the Cargill/Unicco Company for the past 8 years.

Tom enjoyed fishing with his family, woodworking and welding. He had become an avid yard keeper, spending many hours on his tractor manicuring his lawn.

Tom is survived by his wife Jenna, three sons, Dane, Kyler, Brady, and his daughter Nikki, rural Breckenridge; his mother Stephanie Ehnstrom, Wahpeton; his sister Teri (Jeremy) Snyder, West Fargo; his nephew and Godson, Andrew, his mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Geraldine Broz, rural Breckenridge, and many friends and relatives.
