Susan Lynn was born March 7, 1959 at Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Richard and Leona (Franz) Schwartzenberger. She grew up in Napoleon, ND, graduating from High School in 1977. She attended NDSCS in Wahpeton and enrolled in Legal Secretary. During this time she was in work study and after graduation accepted a job with NDSCS in the Financial Aid Office. Spending time with family and friends were a priority, especially following her boys in their athletic events. She liked to sit outdoors reading or at bonfires at the lakes. Christmas time was special time of the year; she would spend hours decorating her house each year and looked forward to Christmas parties with the Bookstore people. She also enjoyed cards, bingo and going to the casino for her birthday.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Greg, Wahpeton; two sons: Jeremy Braun, Mandan, ND; Michael Braun, Wahpeton; her mother, Leona Schwartzenberger, three sisters and two brothers: Sharon (Bob) Reis, Sheila (Jake) Edwards, Rick Schwartzenberger, all of Grand Forks, ND; Sharmaine (Darrell) Stoppler; Randy (Christa) Schwartzenberger, both of Bismarck, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
