Sharon Rose Homer, 67, of Wahpeton, ND, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge, MN. Her memorial service will be 12 noon, Friday, February 10, 2023, at Hughes Shelter in Chahinkapa Park, 820 RJ Hughes Drive, Wahpeton, ND. Deski Cecil Renville will officiate.

Sharon Rose Homer, 67, of Wahpeton, ND, traveled to the spirit world on February 3, 2023. Sharon was full of life, charismatic, and she had a huge heart. Sharon brought light and love when she came into a room. Her smile was genuine and true. Sharon absolutely loved her Tawihe. She enjoyed visiting her relatives and creating new memories with them. Sharon loved to travel either for visiting wacipis, rallies, and exploring. She supported the 38 plus 2 memorial run and encouraged others along the way. Sharon also was a traditional dancer and loved all music. Sharon was the eldest of all the grandchildren from Rosella Larsen Enyart, from Shakopee, MN. Sharon loved to enjoy life. She was very loving and kind to everyone.
She is survived by her daughters, Anne White Eastman of Wahpeton, ND, and Teresa Mitchell of Colbert, OK; Takojas, Mahpiyah Wicasta, Hanyetu Kihnayewin, Wakinyan Cistina, Kiyotankedutawin “Sunset”, Maryann Almaguer, David Herrera, Cesar Herrera, Joseph Herrera, Margarita Mitchell, and Cecilia Mitchell of Oklahoma; Tunwin, Loretta Zacharias (David); Deksi, Dennis Blue from Cansayapi, MN; siblings, Dianne Renville (Cecil) of Hammer, SD, Tonya Wideman of Shakopee, MN, Donald Wideman (Rose) of Florida, and Vicky Scott of Shakopee, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta and AW Doughty; Emmett Eastman, Sr., father of Anne, husband, Isaac Homer; brother, Lars; child, Baby Boy Eastman; granddaughter, Wakaninajinwin White; son-in-law, James White Eastman; grandparents, Rosella Larsen Enyart and Donald Enyart.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Gurley, Jr., Warren Shot, Mahpiyah White, Brock Lanham, Will Lockwood, James Cross, Johnnie Gurley, Sr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of you that she loved and those of you that loved her.
