Robert Stephens

Robert Louis Stephens, 54, Wahpeton, ND died peacefully in his home on April 12, 2014.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND; with memorial gathering one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Robert was born on April 2, 1960 in Alexandria, MN to Louis and Pearl (Olson) Stephens. He was raised in Elbow Lake, Minnesota; attending local school and graduating from Elbow Lake High School in 1978. He then attended Alexandria Technical College in Sales and Marketing.
During his high school years, and also while attending college, Robert worked at Schroeder's Department Store. After college he began working with Pizza Hut Corporation; briefly working in Fergus Falls, MN and International Falls, MN prior to becoming manager of the Breckenridge Pizza Hut, Breckenridge, MN. He continued his working career at the Breckenridge Pizza Hut He was dedicated to Pizza Hut and the staff he worked with.

"Bobby" loved his home and especially enjoyed the pool area which he showcased with beautiful floral arrangements and he would plant many gardens there of different varieties. He loved working with plants and flowers. He also had a "knack" for decorating his home both inside and out.

He is lovingly survived by his siblings; Larry (Gail) Stephens and June (Neil) Richards, both of Elbow Lake, MN, Gene Stephens, Clitheral, MN, Sherry (Carl) Deimling, Lakeland, FL and Tammy Stephens, Mankato, MN; nieces and nephews; Lynn (Cory) Stephens-Benson, Burnsville, MN, Tara Schweitzer, Florence, OR, Tonya (Scott) Helberg, Becker, MN, Michelle Stephens, Columbia, SC, Troy (Tammy) Richards, Underwood, MN, Nicole Stephens, Minneapolis, MN and Shauna Stephens, Winona, MN; 3 aunts, Delores Derby, Barrett, MN, Vivian Johnson, Wendell, MN and Shirley Ronstrom, Lakeland, FL and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
