Robert Marks

Robert "Bob" L. Marks, age 82, passed away at Valley Care and Rehab in Barnesville, MN on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. His funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Matthew Tooman will officiate and burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

Bob was born on February 14, 1942, in Breckenridge to Robert and Irene (Tritten). He lived most of his life in Wahpeton and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Bob worked for nine and half years at Northwestern Sheet Metal making culverts and 26 years at Wahpeton Street Department as a laborer. He enjoyed gardening flowers, and animals, collecting antiques, and rummage sales. Bob was a kind and loving man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his special friend, Virginia Ruediger; many nieces and nephews; cousin, Wayne Braaten of New Effington; and other extended relatives. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Garnet Marks; and sister, Marlys Reece.
