Richard Nord

Richard C. Nord, 84, Wolverton, MN, went to be with his Creator on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at his residence in Fargo. A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, August 5, 7:00 PM, at Faith Lutheran Church, Wolverton, MN, with Rev. Clay Ellingson officiating. There will be visitation from 5 PM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Faith Cemetery, rural Wolverton. Arrangements have been entrusted with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Richard is survived by his wife, Beatrice; two children: his son Jeffrey (Diane) Nord, their three children and two grandchildren: Spencer (Lanette) Nord, children, Brooke and Madison; Ryan Nord and Tyler Nord; his daughter, Debra Hartzell, her three children and four grandchildren: Derek (Michelle) Hartzell, children Henry and Wyatt; Jenny (Jeremy) Green, children Jade and Hunter; Bryce (Tracey) Hartzell; many relatives and friends.

Memorials preferred to Red River Valley Hospice, Wolverton Norwegian Cemetery or donors choice

In lieu of flowers the family prefers a tree to be planted in Richard's memory.
