Peter Kvam

Peter J Kvam, 61, of Fairmount, ND, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2022.

An adventurous sort, Pete loved rock hunting in Arizona, deer hunting in Colorado and Minnesota and moose hunting and salmon fishing in Alaska.

Over the years, Pete had many different kinds of jobs from helping move furniture when he was a young guy up to recently working for Bobcat in Wahpeton, but he loved most was “making dirt” for sand and gravel companies. Pete was a great outdoorsman and loved being in nature, from the frigid Alaskan wilderness to the deserts of the southwest United States, Pete felt at peace with nature. Pete loved his nieces and nephews and he had a great time showing them things.

He is preceded in death by his father James Kvam, his uncle Rex Greicar, Auntie Susie Greicar, Uncle Ray Kvam, and his beloved dog Bear. He is survived by his mother Eunice Kvam, his siblings Bruce, Robin, Jeanne, Penny and Margie, his Auntie Norma, Auntie Lillian, ‘Auntie’ Pat, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. We hope he knows now how many lives he touched.
