Pam was born February 19, 1950, in Breckenridge, MN, to Melvin and Blanche (Murphy) Kath. She grew up in Tenney, MN, graduating from Campbell, MN High School in 1968. After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis where she worked for many years at Chubb’s Insurance before returning to Wahpeton, where she worked in vending sales for Dakota Gourmet. Pam also worked with Giant Seeds in its infancy with its inside sales. She enjoyed reading and cheering on the Minnesota Twins. It was her love for the Twins that led her to suggest they send sunflower seeds to the team, leading eventually to a partnership with the organization.
Pam was a collector of limited-edition dolls, most of which were later donated to “Toys for Tots.” She loved all things Elvis.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Pam is survived by her half-sister, Judy Davis, of Green Bay, WI; nephews, Samuel, Richard and James; and nieces, Peggy and Susan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to St. Catherine’s Living Center, Wahpeton.
