Michel Crawford

Michel Crawford, 31, Wahpeton, ND passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at his residence from his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, at 2 PM at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton, ND with Pastor David Kuhfal officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Michel was born September 20, 1984 in Longview, TX and was raised by his parents Bette and Robert Abell. Michel graduated from Wishek High School and received his associate's degree in human resources from Rasmussen College. His latest employment was with Verity as a customer service representative where he eventually became a teacher in the company.

Michel was a very accomplished young man who inspired many people with his love for words, art, and music. He was a fun, loving, and caring person that always made people smile and laugh.

Michel is loved and missed by many but especially, his mother and father, Bette and Robert Abell, Wahpeton, ND; his brothers David (Kayla) Crawford, Breckenridge, MN, Jonathan Abell, Wahpeton; his sisters, Nikala (Bryan Gray) Abell and Claire Abell, both of Wahpeton. He is also survived by his nephews, Tyler, Danial, Michel, Chance and Nicholas; his niece, Ashlynn; and his cat, Roscoe.
