Melba Boock

Melba R. Boock, 75, Moorhead, MN, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 16, 2:00 PM at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton, with Rev. Mark Manning officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4 PM to 7 PM with a 7 PM prayer service at Willow Creek Chapel and one hour before the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton in the spring. Arrangements are with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Melba was born September 19, 1935 at Colfax, ND, the daughter of Lester B. and Margaret W. (Reiger) Larson. She attended school at Colfax and was united in marriage to Delbert Boock on November 3, 1951 at Wahpeton. The couple lived in Breckenridge where Melba did seamstress work for D.B. Rosenblatt and later helped her children care for her grandchildren at her home. They moved to Moorhead MN., where she continued doing seamstress work for a bridal shop and later for Daytons department store.
