Matthew Folden

Matthew Curtis Folden was born December 14, 1979, at Moorhead, MN, the son of Richard Folden and Diane Luebke. He grew up in the Fargo-Moorhead area and graduated from Job Corps in Minot, ND. He worked for various places of business before working for Taco Bell in Fargo; serving in a management capacity until his health declined.

Matthew enjoyed football and was a wrestling enthusiast. He played sports video games and always wanted to play Texas holdem in Las Vegas. Matt was known for his sense of humor, his writing of poetry and listening to music and karokee. He was very proud to be a Godfather and thoroughly enjoyed family and friends.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Diane Branson, Breckenridge, MN; his father, Richard Folden, Moose Lake, MN; his brother, Terrance (Trisha) Stanley, and goddaughter, Tatelyn Stanley, both of Fargo; his sisters, Laura Stanley, of Texas; Bobby Sue Gorden, Shakopee, MN; Christina Eklund, Fargo; nieces, nephews, a special friend; Nicole and his favorite dog, Misty.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leslie and Sandra Luebke, and Hawken and Alice Folden.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
