Marilyn Reimers

We lost a dear friend yesterday…. Marilyn Reimers passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge, MN, at 2:45pm on December 27, 2020.  She spent the last 24 of her 80 years in Wahpeton at 608.  She was loved by everyone that had the chance to get to know her!  She loved Betty Boop, catalogs, cards from her family, sitting outside feeling the sun on her skin and joking around with staff.  We will miss her laugh, holding her soft hands and teasing her about her Betty Boop dolls.  Rest easy and fly high dear friend.

Our condolences to Marilyn’s family, the staff that had the privilege of knowing and caring for her and all of her friends at 608.

She is survived by her brother, David Reimers (Kathy), sister-in-law, Faye Reimers, brother-in-law, Bob Nelson, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was well-loved by her family.

A service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home in Wahpeton, ND.  A live stream of her service will be available on the funeral home's website.
