Lynne Schultz

Lynne Schultz, 62, of Wahpeton, ND, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at St. Francis Nursing Home in Breckenridge, MN.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.  Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Great Bend, ND.  Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home.

Lynne Suan Schultz was born on September 2, 1956 in Breckenridge, MN, to Allen and LaVerne (Bohn) Schultz.  She grew up in Wahpeton, ND, and graduated from Wahpeton High School.  After high school, Lynne attended Valley City State University before returning to Wahpeton.  She worked a number of years for 3M and Imation before having to leave due to problems with Multiple Sclerosis.  She moved into St. Francis Nursing Home where she lived until she passed away.

Lynne was a kind-hearted, funny, and extremely intelligent person, but was also known to be reserved and quiet.  She enjoyed playing softball, riding snowmobile, and staying involved in snowmobile clubs.  She had numerous online friends that she had met throughout her life that she loved to stay in touch with.

Lynne is survived by two nephews, Mike and Marcy Schultz and family, Grand Forks, ND, and Tim and Kathy Schultz and family, Wolverton, MN; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and LaVerne; her brother, James Schultz; and sister-in-law, Barbara Schultz.
