Kim Barringer

Kim William Barringer of Wahpeton, ND passed away on November 5, 2014.
Kim was born on July 18th 1957 in Lisbon, ND to Percy and Vyrlee(Martin) Barringer. He moved with the family to Gwinner, ND in 1962 where he attended North Sargent elementary and high school until age 16 and later went on to earn his GED.
Kim was active in instructing kids in gun safety and shooting with the Red River Area Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, firearms/reloading, motorcycles and auto mechanics. He had married twice and resided in multiple states and in Canada, but spent the majority of his life in North Dakota finally settling down in Wahpeton in 2008.
Kim is survived by his brothers Kevin, Kurt, and Kent, a sister Judy Mader(Bostrom)/husband Pat, a daughter, Erin Vanden Branden/husband Derek. He also is survived by his nephews Jerry Moir and Joshua Barringer/wife Wanda, nieces Judy Pletsch(Moir)/husband Ted, Keshia Barringer and Kamala Barringer and his grandson Dominic, goddaughter Brandy Dick/husband Nathan and their children Alexia and Blaine.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, a brother Keith and sister Lois.
