Joshua Miller, 34, Wahpeton, ND passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 unexpectedly at his residence. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Friday, February 7 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, ND with Rev. Morris Stephens, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.
Joshua was born on March 21, 1979 in Breckenridge, MN to Bernie and Deborah (Beeler) Miller. He grew up in Foxhome, MN and attended school in Breckenridge. He played football and wrestled and was proud to be a Cowboy. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1998. After high school, Joshua worked as a CNA in the St. Cloud, MN area. He then moved to Alexandria, MN where he worked at Bethany Home and attended classes at Alexandria Technical College to become an LPN. That is where he met his future wife, Brandy Hoylman.
In March of 2002, they moved back to Wahpeton, ND where Joshua worked for St. Catherine's Living Center. Josh and Brandy were united in marriage on August 10, 2002 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He then started his career with Minn-Dak Farmers Coop where he worked as a sugar loader to the present date.
Josh was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. He was a great friend to many people, but his kids and their activities were everything to him.
Josh is survived by his wife, Brandy Miller, Wahpeton; his children all at home, Charles Moses, Allison Miller, Faith Miller, Hope Miller, and Joshua Scott Miller, Jr.; his parents, Bernie and Deb Miller, Foxhome, MN; his brother, Jeremy (fiancé, Carmen Samek) Miller, Foxhome, MN; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, LeRoy and Debora Lambrecht, Long Prairie, MN.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
