Jon “Craig” Patrick, 56, Fairmount, ND passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Meritcare Hospital , Fargo , ND . Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 12 at 10:30 AM at First English Lutheran Church , Fairmount , ND with Pastor Anthony Ahrendt officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, June 11 from 4 pm to 7 pm with a 5 pm prayer service at Willow Creek Chapel ( 920 3 ^rd Ave N ) Wahpeton, ND. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery , Fairmount. Arrangements are with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Jon “Craig” Patrick was born on August 4, 1953 to John and Margaret (Backer) Patrick in Breckenridge , MN . He was raised and attended school in Fairmount , ND where he lived all his life.

Craig was united in marriage to Joan Hansen on October 20, 1973 in Sisseton, SD. In his early years he installed carpet until he started working as a machinist for D & E Machining in Wahpeton. When D & E closed in 2005 Craig started working for EMCO in Wahpeton until the present time.

Craig as a young person was known to put motors on bikes and ride around town. In his later years he enjoyed restoring classic cars, going to car shows and swaps, and camping. He especially loved the time that he spent with his family and grandkids.

Craig is survived by: his wife, Joan, Fairmount, ND; his son, Curtis (Janelle) Patrick, Albany, MN and their children, McKenzie, Alexa, and Connor; his five brothers and sisters, Thomas (Karen) Patrick, Abilene, TX, Sharon Patrick, Fairmount, Carole (Verne) Arneson, Hibbing, MN, Stan (Ann Marie) Patrick, Minneapolis, MN, Deanna Patrick, San Diego, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Josh.
