He was an active member of the St. Gabriel Knight’s of Columbus in Colorado Springs, previously serving as Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator.

Dr. Sikorski served in the Army, Air Force and Air National Guard retiring in 2002 as a Lieutenant Colonel with over 26 years of service. He served all over the world and all over the US including Germany, Korea, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Louisiana, California, and Colorado. He also served with the 1st Cavalry Division during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. He received numerous awards including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army and Air Force Commendation Medals, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and the Expert Field Medical Badge.
