Jeffrey Herbranson

Jeffrey "Jeff" Herbranson, 65, of rural McLeod, ND, passed away in his home on Saturday, August 22, 2020.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM followed by his memorial service at Zion Lutheran Church, 6030 Cty. Rd. 23, Leonard, ND 58052.  Pastor Wayne Quibell will officiate the service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Jeffrey Steven Herbranson was born on December 20, 1954 to Stanley and Janice (Helmer) Herbranson in Fargo, ND.  He grew up near McLeod, ND and attended grade school in Sheyenne Township before attending Wyndmere Public School. He was married and had two children, Casey and Sarah. Jeff lived and ranched around the McLeod area his entire life.

Jeff was never one to be in a rush and enjoyed the simple things in life.  He liked to hunt, fish, and drive the backroads around McLeod. Most of all, Jeff loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Casey (Alissa) Herbranson, Wyndmere, ND and Sarah Herbranson, Bowman, ND; grandchildren, Claire, Jaylin, Dean and Josie; brothers, Mark and Tim Herbranson; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Janice; and his brother, Dean.
