Jeffrey Chicaderis

Jeffrey Chicaderis, 58, Wyndmere, ND passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, December 22, from 5 PM to 7 PM with a prayer vigil at 7 PM at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton, ND with Rev. Dale Lagodinski officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Jeffrey was born on January 6, 1957 in Manchester, NH to George and Helen (Parker) Chicaderis. The family moved to Tujunga, CA when Jeffrey was young and he grew up and graduated from high school in 1975. During his senior year both of his parents passed away so he was on his own. He then started working as a carpenter in the area.

In 1992, Jeffrey fell in love with his neighbor, Marianna Gonzalez in Sunland, CA and they raised their three children and were together until the day he died. In 2001, the family moved to Wyndmere , ND where Jeffrey worked for Imation in Wahpeton and then the Holiday Inn Express. He retired in 2005 due to health issues and continued to live in Wyndmere.

Jeffrey enjoyed, reading, watching old movies, outdoor activities including camping, and loved animals. He most loved Marianna and his children and will be deeply missed by them.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving partner in life, Marianna, Wyndmere, ND; his son, Vincent Chicaderis, at home in Wyndmere; his daughters, Melissa Gonzalez, Fargo, ND, Angel (Brandon Hartl) Gonzalez, Fargo, ND; his sister, Judith Star Chicaderis, Provincetown, MA; and his aunt, Marie Pierce, Manchester, NH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Chicaderis.
