Jeanette Differding

Jeanette R. Differding, 87, Breckenridge, MN, formerly Wahpeton, ND, passed away Sunday March 20, 2011. There will be visitation Tuesday, March 29, from 4 PM to 6 PM with a 4:30 PM Catholic Daughters Rosary and a 5 PM Prayer Vigil at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton. There will be a Funeral Mass April 27, at St. Johna�(TM)s Catholic Church, Wahpeton. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Fairmount, ND at a later date.

Jeanette Ruth Differding was born May 23, 19 at Breckenridge, MN the daughter of Joseph and Caroline (Meyer) Differding. She attended local schools in LaMars Township, rural Fairmount, ND. Jeannette stayed on the farm with her parents, brothers, and sisters. Her father, Joseph, passed away in 1966; they continued to stay on the farm until 1984, when the family moved into Wahpeton. Her mother, Caroline, died on May 27, 1993 and Jeannette continued to live with her sister, Isabelle until she moved in the Leach Home in September of 2003. She entered St. Francis Nursing Home in January of 2004.

Jeanette was a member of St. Johna�(TM)s Catholic Church, Wahpeton and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She liked to play bingo and loved to read the newspaper.

Jeanette is survived by her sister Leona Hanson, Fullerton, CA; her brother, Leo (Joan) Differding, Sunny side, WA; and many nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Louis Differding, her sister, Isabelle Differding and brother-in-law, Donald Hanson.
