James “Jessy” McKinnon Haberman was born on October 10, 2009, in Fargo, ND at 9:00 PM, to Jim and Heather (Kinn) Haberman. From the moment he came into his parent’s lives Jessy brought so much love and laughter. Not only to his family but anyone who ran across his infectious smile and dimples. In Jessy’s short life, it was the family’s goal to make sure that he lived life to the fullest. Jessy went from the lakes of Minnesota, to Chicago’s Navy Pier, to Disney World, to the shores and beaches of Florida. However Jessy’s proudest moment was helping bring joy to other suffering children through the Jessy’s Toy Box program.
Before his most recent surgery Jessy asked “if my heart gets fixed do I still get to do Jessy’s Toy Box?” so Jessy’s Toy Box will continue in his memory.
Jessy is survived by his parents, Jim and Heather Haberman; his siblings who say Jessy was the best brother ever: Mason, McKinnlee and Brystol; his granny’s, Joy Haberman and Linda Kinn; his aunts: Annie (Mark) Heuer, Mooreton, ND, Alissa (Casey) Herbranson, Wyndmere, Sarah (Brady) Helmer, Fargo, ND; his uncle, Troy Kinn and his special friend Paula , Fargo; cousins, Braden Heuer, Jaylin and Josie Herbranson, Bridger Helmer, and Fisher Kinn.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Haberman and Pat Kinn; his great uncle Bill Haberman, and his cousins, Carly Foertsch and William Haberman.
