Jackie Lynn Stelton

Jackie Lynn Stelton, 46, died on November 28, 2024, in Fargo, after a valiant, six-month, battle with the dragon called "cancer." A funeral service will be held in her honor on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Congregational UCC Church, Wahpeton, at 1 PM. Visitation will start at 12 PM. Pastor Ken Adams will officiate. 

Jackie, a lifelong resident of Wahpeton, was born to John and Paula (Petterson) Stelton on April 7, 1978.  Jackie faced numerous challenges in life from learning disabilities to epilepsy, but her tenacious spirit drove her to live life to the fullest. Jackie sought to fill her days with rainbows and unicorns, even if, as a crafter, she had to make them herself. Jackie also loved volunteering at the Senior Center, calling out bingo and making dear friends. 

Jackie loved fiercely, gave freely, and her hugs were warm enough to melt the Ice Queen's frozen heart. 

Jackie is survived by her mother, Paula Stelton; siblings, Jason Kropp, Jonathan Stelton, Jenel (Matthew) Stelton-Holtmeier; and nieces and nephew: Gabriel, Shaylin and Elaina, Stelton Keenan. 

Jackie was preceded by her father and grandparents.

She will be missed by all who loved her.
