Eugene Ziegelman

Eugene Milton Ziegelman, 53, Great Bend, ND died December 22, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be at 10:30 AM at the Great Bend Fire Hall Saturday, May 30, 2015 with Rev. Sean Daenzer of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Eugene Ziegelman was born January 7, 1961, at St. Francis Hospital at Breckenridge, MN, to Milton and Virginia (Trickel) Ziegelman, baptized February 12, 1961 and confirmed March 23, 1975 in Great Bend. He was the youngest of four children. He went to grade school in Great Bend and graduated from high school at Wahpeton, ND, in 1978. After graduation he was employed by Phillips 66 gas station in Great Bend, where he was in an accident and was badly burned. After his recovery, he was employed part time at the Great Bend bar, and part time at Manock Meats in Great Bend. Later he was employed at the Cowgal's Saloon in Great Bend.

He is survived by his brother, Neal (Bonnie) Ziegelman, Albuquerque, NM, sister, Pamela (Sherwin) Raile, Beulah, ND, and 8 nieces and nephews. Scott (Lisa) Stanbra, Alexandria, MN, Naomi (Christopher) Stanley, Edmond, WA, Charity Ziegelman, Albuquerque, NM, Julie (Edmund) Blanchet, Albuquerque, NM, Kenyon (Jennifer) Raile, Colstrip, MT, Corinna (Christopher) Leeson, Cheyenne, WY, Thomas (Ekela) Raile, Stanley, ND, and Daniel (Brigette) Raile, Puyallup, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Stanbra.
