Dee was born on May 7, 1940 in Canistota, SD to Philip and Erna (Huber) Eisenbeis. She grew up near Yale, SD and attended school and graduated from Yale High School in 1958. Dee was united in marriage to Bill Dunnick and to this union was born four children. They lived in the Yale/Huron SD area until Bill passed away on July 3, 1962. She continued to raise her children in Huron and married Phil Peterson who passed away a year and a half later.
On November 7, 1969 she married Irvin Moeller in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron and to this union a son was born. In August 1971, Irvin and Dee moved to Wahpeton, ND where Irvin got a job as an instructor at NDSSS. Dee did a lot of seamstress work for local clothing stores and did some work of her own creating. She also worked some campaigns at Minn-Dak Farmers Coop. In her later years, she worked to become a master gardener and worked for Dean's Landscaping and later for Landmark Landscaping. For the past number of years she took care of flowers for the Wahpeton Parks and Chahinkapa Zoo.
Dee was a deacon at Bethel Lutheran Church. She loved traveling to conventions with Irvin during his involvement with the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. She also enjoyed sewing, playing cards, bird watching, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dee is survived by her husband, Irvin, Wahpeton; her children, Gary (Karen) Dunnick, LeSeuer, MN, Viola (David) Score, Canton, SD, Vernon (Thea) Dunnick, Canton, SD, Billie (John) Armendarez, Wyoming, MI, Michael (Jen) Moeller, Minot, ND; her nine grandchildren: Duane and Joseph Score, Sheena and Kevin Dunnick, Zach and Elizabeth Armendarez, and Madisen, Rylan, and Emmylou Moeller; her four step grandchildren, Corrie Myhre, and Tylor, Chad, and Amber Brahee; one step great-grandchild, Benjamin Brahee; and her sisters, Mary Irvin, Breckenridge, MN and Elaine Burma, Tea, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Billy Dunnick and Phil Peterson; her granddaughters, Crystal Armendarez and Gina Score; and her two nephews, Aaron and John Strohm.
