Bonnie Baker, 62 of Breckenridge, MN passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Valley Christian Church in Breckenridge, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service, with Pastor Dean Bjorlin officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Bonnie Lou Baker was born December 21, 1955, in Braham, MN, to Clarence and Therese (Herman) Baker. She grew up and attended school in Cambridge MN, through the eleventh grade. The family then moved to Milaca, MN, where Bonnie graduated from High School. She went on to complete a 2-year tech. program at St. Cloud, AVTI College in Electronic Data Processing. Establishing her career shortly after, she most recently worked for Wells Fargo in Minneapolis, Service Master, Minn-dak and Walmart in Wahpeton.
Bonnie was a single mom who raised her three children, Tiffany, Vanessa and Justin, with pride. Her love for her children showed by her working hard to provide them with everything they needed in life. She instilled good morals and values into her children, as well as always being respectful and kind-hearted. She had so much love to give that she gave her all in everything she did, even if it was more then she had. It goes without question that being a mother was Bonnie’s proudest accomplishment in life. When Bonnie became a grandmother, it brought even more joy to her life. Seeing the road can be hard sometimes, but Bonnie always strived to persevere. Knowing her constant faith and persistence would lead to a happier and stronger family.
Bonnie enjoyed working with her hands and staying busy. Some of her hobbies included; gardening, canning, cooking, and baking. As well as making soap, cordial, jewelry, and natural remedies.
She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany (Mitchel) Anderson of Breckenridge, MN; Vanessa Baker of Mounds View, MN; Son, Justin Baker (Megan) of Maplewood, MN; Mother, Therese Baker of Princeton, MN; Father, Clarence Baker of Zimmerman, MN; Sister, Gail Weston of Princeton, MN; Brothers, John Baker of Milaca, MN and Thomas Baker of Milaca, MN; Sister-in-law, Leonora Baker of Pease, MN; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
