St. John’s
Catholic Church, Wahpeton with Rev. Dale F. Lagodinski officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 5 PM to 8 PM with a 7 PM Prayer Vigil at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at

Angeline was born December 18, 1907, at

, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Sikorski) Gebhart. She grew up and attended school at Fairmount. She married Joseph J. Kubela at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church, Wahpeton on September 29, 1926. They lived and farmed south of Wahpeton and later moved east of
Tyler
,
ND
. Joe passed away October 2, 1961; Angeline continued to live on the farm, later moving into Wahpeton. She married Julius Haberman on March 31, 1970. The couple lived in
Danton
Township
, rural
Barney
,
ND
. Julius passed away November 4, 1984, and Angeline moved to Wahpeton. She moved to the Leach Home in Wahpeton in 1998 and entered St. Francis Nursing Home, Breckenridge in 2008.
Angeline was a member of
St. John’s
Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, music and entertaining friends and family. She was an avid collector of frogs and frog facsimiles. Angeline loved children and made each grandchild feel like they were extra special. She was known to be very matter of fact and often gave a practical antidote for complicated problems and often said “life is what you make it.”
Angeline is survived by her daughter, Sharilyn “Terry” (Robert) Bodson, Harrison, AR; her daughter-in-law, Theresa Kubela, Wahpeton; 24 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her step-children: Donald (Laura) Haberman, Colorado; James Haberman, Australia; John (Paula) Haberman, Barney, ND, Shirley Lee, West Fargo, ND; and Janelle (Brian) Meslow, Wyndmere, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Kubela, her husband Julius Haberman,
her sons, Norman “Buzz” Kubela, and Rodney “Nick” Kubela, her daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne “Vonnie” Veitenheimer and Lawrence; her brothers, Henry, Walter, Robert, and Richard and her sisters, Helen “Sis” Muellenbach, and Elva Lambert.
