Allen Wayne Ward was born June 7, 1962, in Breckenridge, MN, to Wayne and Janice (Althoff) Ward. He graduated from Wahpeton High School and obtained a degree from North Dakota State College of Science.
Allen was blessed with two children, a daughter, Tayler and a son, Codie. He was so proud of them. Most recently, he had the honor to walk his daughter, Tayler, down the aisle at her wedding and welcome his new son-in-law, Nathan A.K.A. George, to the family. Allen spent his entire life as a farmer, seed and chemical salesman by taking over the family business and being a dedicated son, brother, dad and friend. In his spare time, he loved to be with his family and friends. He was often caught giving his unique grin or cracking jokes, winning meat raffles, and enjoying the company of so many people, including the coffee club (at the casino). Allen was a community minded man by supporting clubs and organizations such as: Mooreton Trapshoot Club, Bison Team Makers, Mooreton Community Club, Mooreton Fire Department, and served on Mooreton City Council for many years.
Allen is survived by his children, Tayler (Nathan) Blaufuss, and Codie Ward; his parents, Wayne and Janice Ward; his sisters, Pam (Kerry) Lindemann, Sherri (Pat) McFarren, and Brenda (Troy) Klosterman; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Allen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lester and Leona Ward; maternal grandparents, William and Della Althoff; and his uncles, William F. Althoff, Raymond Althoff, John Bowman and William Ward.
